What We Liked:

The film is superbly shot in chilly blues and grays by cinematographer Roger Deakins, and La locales are very well selected for advanced effect. More often than not, however, I discovered myself glancing in the clock by myself wrist.
 

What We Disliked:

Andrew Niccol remains a tight schedule-to guy for implementing smartly performed science-fiction/fantasy concepts within the service of indicating ideas instead of bang-up action.

In a near future, society has changed radically: the aging process stops at 25 years and the attainment of that age is assigned a “clock” that measures time still available; and it is time to have converted to the currency, so that the enrichment or poverty of individuals determine how long it will be irreparably their own lives. Will Salas – a young man born and raised in District 12, “the ghetto” Dayton – after having saved from certain death Herny, a rich man lured by a criminal gang in the neighborhood, he finds himself ‘credited’ a century of life, given by him before his suicide. Accustomed to live not the day, but at the minute, able to count on an additional 100 years, Will becomes the admonition to follow in the footsteps of his father and groped to revolutionize the system..

Andrew Niccol is inspired by the famous saying “time is money” and turns it into reality, theorizing a future in which the capitalist system shows its true nature: by replacing the time to money, can make no idea how this system has been designed to favor the wealthy, taking away half of the poor. Will plays a role in “Robin Hood” and deservedly become rich for a heroic act, dedicated to all those in difficulty, instead of trying to fight for them to enjoy their wealth. Starting with a concept as simple as the original, InTime combines daring and memorable action sequences, immersing the viewer in a world perhaps not so far removed from everyday life …
