Gucci is pleased to announce that Charlotte Casiraghi is the protagonist of the new advertising campaign “Forever Now”, designed by creative director Frida Giannini. Over the next two years, the new campaign will be Charlotte Casiraghi pictured the scene of fashion that most revered in the whole world, in a series of sessions who celebrate renowned icons of the house.
The first pictures tell the story of the signing of Gucci – which is the green and red – by Peter Lindbergh lens. With the background of a barn, the intimate photographs of Casiraghi evoke fascination for founder Guccio Gucci, admirer of the art of riding.
Guccio Gucci was appropriated the green stripe and red using it in the saddle of his horse. In 1950 he applied for the first time these colors in finishing and detail of travel luggage. Since then, the strip with the distinctive colors became a visual reference and registered trademark of Gucci.
Today, that legacy continues with special projects between Frida Giannini and Charlotte Casiraghi. The equitation wardrobe of Giannini created for Ms. Casiraghi, is highly technical, but luxurious and with specific details of the brand’s heritage, including those color icons: green and red that emerged from the equestrian world and they are fancy today as they were when the founder Guccio Gucci have been using it for more than half a century.
